The Moomins and their friends have gone down to the beach, and looking out over the sea Moominpappa is reminded of his youthful life as an adventurer. The appearance of the Niblings saves him from the predicament we left him in last time, but no sooner is that danger past when a storm hits the "Oshun Oxtra", finally stranding our friends in an island kingdom far away.
