Twice, strong central powers have managed to drive Ingebjørg Gamst away from Vorterøy in the Lyngenfjord. Every time she has returned at the first opportunity, and this time she stays there for good. "I did not come to Vorterøy to die, I came to live", says Ingebjørg.
