She scans the rest of the children as well, but only Adam has them too, which explains why Luna and Adam are able to communicate, why Luna could hear the mysterious voice, and why she could open the door to the ruins. Luna is extremely concerned that she has nanomachines, but tries to behave as normal in front of the other children.
