Anita Manning and Paul Laidlaw's road trip sees them journey further south as they scour the Lake District for antiques.
The unlikely engineering of a 1950s children's toy excites Paul, while Anita is struck by the poignancy of a child's walking stick from the Victorian era. Paul is distracted from antiques when he gets to grips with a sausage of the long-coiled variety, while Anita learns about the husband and wife who were incarcerated for their beliefs.
