A homeless woman is found raped and abused on a bench in the village of Bassow near Rostock. For the village community, it quickly becomes clear who the perpetrators are - Kukulies and Buschke, two recently released offenders who have moved into the neighborhood, much to the chagrin of the residents. Bukow and König, however, soon come across many inconsistencies in the testimonies of the village community. The next morning, Buschke is dead and Kukulies has disappeared without a trace. Bukow and König suspect the murderer of the homeless in the circle of the villagers. Was it vigilante justice to get rid of the rapist and the child molester forever?
