Meet Scott Calvin! A working man who's got a son, Charlie, and an ex-wife Laura, who, in my opinion, is a real pain in the ass. Laura is now married to Neal, a soft-spoken psychiatrist. Charlie is going to stay at Scott's house for Christmas eve. The evening starts with Scott burning the turkey, so they go to Denny's for dinner. That night, Santa arrived and landed on the roof. Scott went out to see what the thuds on the roof were, he startled Santa, which caused him to slip and fall off the roof. Scott finds a card that says for him to put on Santa's suit and the reindeer would know what to do. He saw the sleigh and eight reindeer on the roof. Up there, they meet Comet, the reindeer head of the team. Now why this is, I do not know. Comet was supposed to be behind Donner and Blitzen. So when did the switch happen? Anyway, Scott and Charlie take off in the sleigh and Scott is talked into delivering the toys into people's houses. He has run-ins with dogs, alarms, and a giant kayak.
