Freya freezes at the breakfast table: the routine of the morning radio show has changed. She suspects another awakened person and tries to hide her excitement from Malte. When Becker and Freya find the radio presenter, disillusionment follows: he doesn't seem to suspect anything about the loop. Becker focuses on following chains of events, for which he even seeks help from his police colleague Sörnsen. Who or what was the trigger that made Becker change his daily routine? To do this, Becker has to face the man who knocks on his door every night and may have changed his day. And Becker actually manages to pick up another track. But he pays a bitter price for it.
