Sophie is enraged when her mum calls her jealous of Rosie's 'talent'. Kevin accuses Sally of trying to project her dreams into Rosie. Mike gives Nick a pay rise when he finds out that Nick applied for a job at Penny's. Mike also mentions to Nick that if he puts a foot out of line, he'll sack him on the spot. Maria is annoyed when Nick buys a sports car with the money that they were saving for a flat. Fred takes Penny out for a meal while Ashley and Claire have a cosy night in.
