An abandoned town in north-east Japan. When night falls there, eerie black clouds rise and from them resounds a terrifying cry. Everyone who hears it falls ill and becomes unable to move. Kitaro receives a letter from Kanji, a boy who lives there, and heads for the town immediately. A mysterious man watches Kitaro from afar...!?
