The setting of this episode refers us, however, to a reality that is no more colorful than sad: on Christmas 1977, a nine-year-old boy, Linus, disappeared, apparently devoured by a treacherous swamp near his home. His twin brother, Marvin, has endured a severe trauma ever since, which he tries to alleviate through a multiple personality disorder—one of the personalities he assumes is that of his missing brother—, on the one hand, and a brutal alcoholism, from which he tries to recover with uneven results, on the other.
