A frantic car chase in a suburban street ends in tragedy when a letter bomb intended for Joe Maloney kills his daughter Angie and Det. Sgt. Bob Delaney. Maloney takes his own revenge, and Sen. Det. Barnes risks his life to defuse a live bomb strapped to the chest of a criminal.
