The race has begun on Mt. Usui. With Mako driving chase, the Impact Blue team hopes to see how Takumi and his Eight-Six handle the pressure, and then plan to leave him in the dust. Takumi struggles to keep up, wondering if he is in over his head. The big curve though, C-121, will prove if he has what it takes.
