James Bond Jr and Gordo Leiter go outside to investigate, they find a new female student being attacked by what appears to be an alien. Bond rescues the girl, but the strange creature escapes in a UFO... The next day, Bond and Gordo are both grounded by Mr. Millbanks for leaving the dorms after hours. Later, Halley Comet (The girl James saved) talks to her father, Professor Comet, on the telephone. Professor Comet is a world leading astronomer and head of England's space weapons program. Halley tells her father about the alien that attacked her last night, her father believes her as he says the aliens have contacted him and have agreed to pick him up after dark.
