While in town with Frank's father, the three friends and Jerry walk past the ""Super TV"" studios where their favourite show ""Derision and Degradation"" is made. There they see an advertisement for a new game show that the studio is launching where it says they are looking for kids to be on the show, so the three friends and Jerry apply. Their heads quickly fill with dreams of stardom, and when they each receive an invitation to be on the show they are ecstatic. The whole town starts to treat them as stars, but when they arrive at the studios to be on the show it turns out that they already have enough kids. Just as Frank is contemplating his humiliation, the show host for ""Derision and Degradation"" comes along desperate for someone to fill a last minute cancellation on his show. Frank sees his chance. Of course, Frank's humiliation turns out to be all the more painful as he is brought on the show only to be made a fool on one of the most watched TV shows.
