Floortje begint aan haar Canadese avontuur in het Franstalige Montreal. Van daaruit gaat ze alleen nog maar omhoog, richting Poolcirkel. Deze tocht gaat deels over het water, wat bij de Queen Elizabeth-eilanden wonderschone plaatjes oplevert. Ondertussen bivakkeert Daphne op het illustere Italiaanse eiland Sicilië, in de provincie Trapani om precies te zijn. Daar doet ze zich te goed aan het beste dat de uitstekende lokale cuisine te bieden heeft.
