Mister Rogers arrives with a soap solution which he uses to blow bubbles. As he attempts to wash his hands, the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom are not working. After a phone call to the plumbing service, Mister Rogers washes his hands using bottled water from his refrigerator.
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Robert Troll is practicing his role as usher for the soap opera when Mayor Maggie and Neighor Aber arrive with an automatic bubble maker.
The royal family arrives as the soap opera begins -- "As the Museum Turns." Mimus Polyglottos plays the part of the policebird guarding the world's supply of soap as Lady Elaine forgets her lines and is consoled by Robert Troll. Mimus is recognized for saving the soap as Robert Troll is for helping Lady Elaine. Love is shared all around among the Neighbors -- including love from King Friday.
Back at the house, Mister Rogers remembers a time when he visited the kitchen of Mrs. Schipper and learned to make spinach egg rolls. A plumber arrives and informs Mister Rogers that his water should be working again -- the trouble was with his outside water lines.
Mister Rogers concludes for the week by singing Many Ways to Say I Love You.
