After another late night out Clark arrives late at a crime scene, wearing the same clothes he wore the day before. Sipowicz comments that his new lifestyle doesn't suit him. Back at the squad, Det. Laura Murphy has joined the detectives as Ortiz's new partner. She comes from a group that did background checks on future cops, no real detective work according to Sipowicz.
