Lucas and Brooke head to New York together to visit Haley. There they get a glimpse of what Haley's life has become and Lucas tries to convince her to come home. However, despite Lucas telling her how depressed Nathan is without her, Haley tells Lucas she isn't coming home. Back in Tree Hill, Nathan and Deb plot to get Dan out of their lives for good. Peyton is able to get Jimmy Eat World to perform at TRIC, but her elation brought on by the performance is dashed when Jake decides to leave Tree Hill once again. Meanwhile, Andy invites Karen to spend the summer in New Zealand with him.
