When the Red Ranger later is ordered to stand down while chasing Vypra through a civilian-filled parking garage, a small boy is injured in the melee, and though Carter feels this proves he's not cut out to be a Ranger, the bigger picture soon reveals he did the right thing after all. Meanwhile, Vypra encounters the Rangers for the first time when scheming to create Earthquakes to level Mariner Bay.
