When deportation looms over Emilio, a new student from Guatemala Zoey and Melanie help create awareness so that he can continue to work and send money to his family. Meanwhile Alex, another new student from Toronto, is befriended by Patti, who soon realizes that being kind to the new girl doesn’t always lead to friendship.
