Her daring actions prove doubly fortunate when they suddenly realise that they are staring freedom in the face. They kidnap Tina and tie her in the back of the delivery van as she witnessed Bev hit Frank. They also face Sylvia and Malcolm when they arrive in Spain. They find Malcolm getting ready to inject Sylvia with a deadly substance, so Phyl shoots Malcolm with a gun she found, killing him.
