Beat-Club - 8x04 The Osmonds

For fans of 70's cheese, here's a treat, 45 minutes of The Osmonds in concert. It's hard to fathom how and why this band was so popular for a short time in the early 70's. They appear to be the only young people of their day who though the Vegas Elvis look was the epitome of cool in stage attire. I found it painful to hear them cover Sly & The Family Stone. There has never been a pop act as White as this. Performances include "One Bad Apple", "Yo Yo", "Hold Her Tight", "Too Young", "Sweet and Innocent", "Why", "We've Got to Live Together", "Crazy Horses", "Puppy Love", "Down by the Lazy River", "Tamborine", and an Elvis medley sung by Little Jimmy, then 8. This was the only time an entire episode of Beat-Club was dedicated to a single performing artist, and also the last episode of the series.
