"The Titans soon discover that Slade - the villain responsible for Plasmus's escape and the H.I.V.E students - is up to his old tricks, and that he wants more technology. Robin isolates himself more and more from the team. Out of nowhere a new villain appears, and goes by the name Red-X. He knows all the titans' weaknesses and takes them down in a clean sweep. However he also saves Beast Boy from being hit by a train, and that causes some suspicion. Red-X steals all the computer chips Slade wants. Red-X, however, has flaws in his plan to gain the trust of Slade, like how he has the same personality as Robin. Starfire figures out it really is Robin behind the mask, and soon all is returned to normal, but Robin has damaged the trust his friends have placed in him."
