Rob and Debbie investigate a music marketing company involved with flyposting, Gabriel and June are led on a wild-goose chase by a mugger, and Kerry's flat is broken into by Gabriel, before being searched by Andrea, looking to dispose of the evidence of her role as a journalist. Kerry's father goes into a coma, forcing her to re-evaluate her life and job, and when he recovers she finally chooses Smithy. However, after declaring her love for Smithy in front of the station, she is tragically shot by Gabriel.
