Massimo and Heather toast Deacon for taking his first deliberate drink. Deacon heads home slightly drunk to Jackie, who smells the alcohol on Deacon's breath as she kisses him and is not pleased. Jackie leaves and as Deacon goes to pour out the alcohol he ends up drinking it. Sally throws a party for Thorne, to which he arrives late, and she realizes this means that Eric and Stephanie must be trying to talk him out of selling his shares.
