The network continues to force Larry to make substantial changes in the look and format of the show and assign executive Kenny Mitchell to be a new "creative consultant" to oversee the changes. Artie, Hank, and Larry are all frustrated by the changes. Ultimately, Larry decides to announce on the show that he will be leaving when his contract expires in eight weeks time. Jon Stewart and Colin Hay guest.
