While investigating the discovery of a preserved alien body found in the mountains of Canada, Mulder is contacted by Michael Kritschgau. He tells Mulder about a government conspiracy to make people believe in aliens without question, and Mulder has been the prime target.

The immersive and well-executed "Gethsemane" is a gigantic episode that, for better or worse, changes the series forever.
Just a tiny bit below the wonderful season 3. This season is the darkest until now. More gritty also. The season starts a bit slow but when it's start to go faster you can't stop it. If season 3 is the happy season than this is the depressive season...in a very good way ;) On to season 5!
