On tonight's episode of X-Play, we honor the best of the best at E3 with our "Best of E3 '05" Award Show. Once a year, the video game industry gathers at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the Electronic Entertainment Expo to unveil new games, new consoles and a whole lot of hype.
E3 '05 was most notable for launching the new console cycle. We saw the debut of the Xbox 360, the PS3 and Nintendo's Revolution. But, all the hot hardware in the world doesn't make a difference if we can't play your product on the showroom floor. So, bottom line, if we can't play it we can't consider it for a "Best of E3" Award.
With that said, we nominated games in the following categories:
