Leonard and Sheldon are short on funds and make a deposit at the High I.Q sperm bank in order to pay for dinner. On their way to the Bombay Palace they notice Katie (Amanda Walsh) crying on the sidewalk over her destroyed relationship, Leonard insisting on comforting her invites her and one thing bringing another invite her to stay with them. Gilda, Leonard's coworker having romantic interest in him, discovers that and feel threatened by the presence of Katie.
