Thomas manages to infiltrate Inostranka, saving all but 21 of the imprisoned aliens (those 21 were loyal to Sophia and were executed), injuring Blake in the stomach and leg. Blake barely escapes thanks to the help of one of Sophia's supporters, while a senator's succeeding wife threatens to expose Inostranka. President Martinez stops her. Meanwhile, Sean suddenly abandons Leila.
