Bet and Paul return at midnight and Bet is thrilled to see Alec, but he thinks she's been unfaithful and throws Paul out. Gail is still upset that Nicky continues to think Brian is still alive. She feels that he's becoming a handful. Nicky thinks Gail is responsible for Brian's absence and attacks her. She tells him Brian is never returning and begs him to love her. Derek tries to contact DP at home, telling DP he'd love to work in dispatch but DP refuses to take him back. Alf finally gets to Curly and demands £80 in rent from him.
