学校祭の準備が進む中、爽子はくるみの言葉が頭から離れず、なぜ風早を好きになったのかを思い返していた。そして風早もまた、ピンに「あきらめちまえよ！」と言われたことで、自分の想いを見つめ返しているのだった。それぞれの想いが巡る中、ついに学校祭が始まる。
