I liked the finale, but the last part with Tara? I think that was kinda lame. Too much.

great episode! and indeed a very nice build up to the next season, but i think it's remarkable that thy killed of so many charachets with almost no drama at all... still great episode!
Overall the finale was great, I agree with you. However I don't like that they've killed off some characters that I'd grown attached to, and made Eric and Bill look like puppy dogs (Nan was totally right about that). I mean, come on, they're badass vampires, Alan Ball should follow the books on this storyline at least.
Best line of the season: "You can't trade magic like fucking Pokémon cards!"
Great season finale. I don't think I have ever seen one that did a better job of setting up the next season. Character deaths, new characters, old ones returning, and a nice collection of new storylines for next season, which already looks good.
