I know the SyFy format, but Eureka was actually supposed to come back early last year, then didn't. Further confusion set in when they gave it an early renewal for season 5, which is now like 11 months before the rest of season 4 aired.

Every site on the planet had it listed as coming back in January. Even Colin Ferguson, the star of the show, tweeted that it was coming back in January. I keep up with shows and trust me, there wasn't a site out there, that thought it was coming back in Summer.

I remember when they finally said it was getting pushed to the Summer that people were all confused. They had been fed Winter for so long that there was a lot of disappointment.

SyFy doesn't really have a standard way of handling any show, as it changes episode orders, aird ates, and so on, season to season. They are very unpredictable. That isn't the worst thing, though. Adding Christmas episodes to a couple of shows was a nice treat.

@ColeFrost, it just the way SyFy air many of their shows, they film them in blocks of 20/22 the show them in two parts over a couple of years, however they seem to have changed this for 2012, showing a 13 episode Season 5 next summer.

Finally... I still don't know why they skipped over airing the rest of season 4 for so long. That makes no sense, especially with the show always having good ratings. It is nice to have the show back.

Solid episode, as always. I'm looking forward to the rest of season 4 and also season 5, when they start it up.
