Set between the twilight of the Edwardian era and the end of the First World War, Parade's End's biggest pre-occupation is a love triangle between English aristocrat Christopher Tietjens, his beautiful but cruel wife Sylvia and Valentine Wannop, a young suffragette who he falls madly in love with.

HBO just greenlit this. BBC is making it. It has an Oscar winning writer ("Shakespeare in Love") and the Emmy nominated director of Generation Kill. It also has two good stars, Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock Holmes on Sherlock and Rebecca Hall ("The Town" (Great movie directed by/starring Ben Affleck, plus Jeremy Renner in an Oscar nominated role)).
