@Foxhound While I don't wish to start a "scientific" discussion or anything (mostly because the science in this show is pretty flawed), the idea was that there was some force destroying the area (because both universes were coming together). Right in the center of the area the force was equal in every direction, thus the sum of all of the force was zero. Which is in accordance with vector mathematics, even though it's pretty simplistic (they even mentioned vectors in the episode I think).

But again, the science is of course flawed. But that's the case in most (if not all) Fringe episodes.

I wouldn't say annoyed, but it was definitely one of the weaker solutions they've come up with.

If the town was being erased because both universes were existing in the same place, why wasn't the bike-shop destroyed as well?

@Foxhound You were really annoyed by that eye of the storm solution? Fringe thrives un such feeble "scientific"-solutions to their problems. This one wasn't a particularly clever one, but it wasn't bad either in comparison to other episodes imo.

Great episode, although that whole "eye of the storm" thing made no sense at all.
