Wives are doing it for themselves in this comedy drama about two women trapped by marriage to a Nigerian chief.
Moji dreams of being a window dresser but is thwarted by her mundane Peckham life and foolish husband. And her world is turned upside down by the arrival of his second¿ wife from Nigeria, who has come to join them in their one-bedroom flat. Her presence forces Moji to reassess her life and she tries to get a job designing a charity shop window. But when the husband cuckolds both women with athird¿ they form a surprising friendship, which allows both women to be free and follow their dreams.
After a public showdown at the chieftancy party, their future is transformed, and so is the charity shop window.
