It's Christmastime, and Debra learns it may be better to receive when she gets a tip from Hannah's father, one that could lead to incriminating Dexter in a crime. Meanwhile, Dexter discovers that the man behind his mother's death has been released from prison.

Total shitwriting. [2] All the Debra/Dexter/Hannah shit is so fucking boring. I feel like I'm being deceived by a script that doesn't have anything good to offer me, it's just a huge runaround for the next season. I gave a 3 because the Estrada/LaGuerta thing was... something. But I really hope that the SF (or at least the next season) can be better than that.
Of course it was Deb, jealous bitch couldn't stand Dexter falling in love for the first time.
Let's not forget what Deb said though:
"I will do anything to get your murdering ass behind bars" or something like that. Enough proof for me!
@Volv I agree it was probably Deb, but another thought is that Hannahs plan wasn't to kill Deb, but just one dinner with Dex and Harrison.
Fucking Debra.
Why would Hannah poison Debra with something that a) isn't a very reliable kill and b) is easily tracable? It's pretty obvious Debra did it to herself to frame Hannah. Also, if Debra was poisoned Dexter would be suspicious of Hannah anyway.
@kakature @curve It's really good idea, but if it was true we would probably know it already. This show is SO not subtle right now. Writers would slap our faces with some "hints" about that :P
Imo it's 80/20 on Debra / witness poisoning the water. It's like 0.001% that it was Hannah.
How is that a spoiler, it happened in this episode :p
@kakature Yeah, but all that Debra thing from your comment is also a spoiler. And agreed, SHOW SPOILER it's pretty obvious, that she poisoned herself and I don't know why it was so obvious for Dexter to give Hannah up and to risk, that she'll tell everything she knows about him.But let's see what they will do with it and I hope they won't screw this up.
