Really stupid of LaGuerta to not call back-up and of Deb to shoot her instead of letting Dexter complete his set-up...
Despite all okayish season. Not the best but not the worst either.
Better then expected, but still disappointing. Too bad, Dexter.
They say it ends with season 8...
I don't believe them...
If it makes money, they will make more...

Shit finale of a mediocre season, though the last scene was great. At least this season was better than the last two

overall it was a pretty good season imo. the finale was not that good though. and thank god laguerta is dead. i just didn't want deb to kill her... that was a strong scene.

I liked this season way more than the last 2 turds to be quite honest.
Disappointing season, really. Everything turns out in a huge cliche at the end. Dexter is all "am I capable to love? I only love Hannah" but the writers forgot that he loved Rita, that he fell for Lumen, that he loves Debra and he loves, especially, Harrison. Hannah only brought all the love cliches for the show. Can't. Really boring.
Then the Koshka Brotherhood was a shit storyline that wasn't nothing at all. All the promises of "I'll kill you, Dexter" were made only to steal time, to fill the episodes and give us a shit resolution with Isaak's death, turning it in a Quinn's storyline and giving it a shit resolution as well. Quinn will have his happy ending with Jamie (who and who?).
Louis (remember him?) wasn't nothing at all either. He bought the ITK's hand, gave it to Dexter, stalked his family and... it was really because Dexter didn't liked his game. What the fuck.
This season finale was boring as hell, because LaGuerta is a character boring as hell and almost everything (interesting at least) was about her. Except for the last part, which was an amazing one, really. Jennifer Carpenter made an amazing job and all the emotions on that scene were incredible. Plus LaGuerta is dead, thank god. Awesome end to a bad episode. But like someone said here, the next season premiere maybe will bring a crying Debra, all "i killed an innocent woman, jesus fuck, Dexter, I hate you". We hope not, tho.
Anyway... disappointing season is disappointing.
