Dean is frantic after Sam collapses and the doctor tells Dean his brother won't make it. Desperate, Dean sends out an all points bulletin via prayer to every angel in the area, asking them to help his brother. In exchange, Dean will owe that angel a favor. Numerous angry angels race to find and kill Dean, but one, Ezekiel, gets to him first. Meanwhile, Sam fights for his life and must face some familiar demons to do so. Castiel struggles to survive without powers.

@MarinaB Jared Padalecki can most certainly act, although you may indeed not like his portrayal of Sam. He chose to do it this way, which, I agree, isn't always very likable.
I really liked this season premiere. I was sad when it was over and, for the first time in years, I'm looking forward to next week's episode.
Misha Collins and Jensen Ackles were incredible this week.
The only sad thing is that Jared Padalecki can't act even if Sam's life depends on it (got it?). It's going to be hard to watch Sam possessed by an angel.

SHOW SPOILER What's this with the powerless angels? They still have some powers left. I'm confused. Good to see Death again though!
