I love Prady for stepping out to defend Alicia <3
@Foaman Agreed. It drives me insane when they have that kind of random break schedule. The winter break is one thing but to be off every other week at times and to take an additional break like this as well is ridiculous. The 10-13 episode format is so much more reliable on networks like HBO and FX that don't do this stuff.
And to not even know when a break will be until you're already waiting three weeks? SO annoying.
@kenneththepage It's mainly because of their sports seasons, the most busy period is usually the winter months, they don't want to broadcast a show that is gonna have to compete with a sports game because it will lose, it all has to do with their broken and outdated tv viewership rating system ..
I have been watching US shows for many many years, but only in the last few years they started to take way too many off air periods .. they take a winter break usually for a month (some shows like TWD for 3), then come back for an episode or 2 then go off again for a month or 2.. it fkn sucks
If they are don't have the schedule for a full 22/24 episode season then they should just go with the 12-13 episode format IMO..
@Foaman for a second I almost started to think it was the olympics or something, but I realized that that wouldn't make sense for a few reasons...ugh agreed the networks do this all the time and I have no idea why
@kenneththepage Yeah, that fkn sucks .. I'm getting sick of how frequently US shows keep getting interrupted like this ..
WTF WHY IS THIS OFF FOR A MONTH
