Maybe because Writer / Director want to give one SHOW SPOILER more episode with Joss Carter to fans of her who miss her?
This has to be the worst episode in the series so far. The entire thing was waaaaay too dragged out, I can't believe they squeezed and entire episode out of just this small little concept.
Not to mention that it was just stupid - SHOW SPOILER why didn't Patterson do anything when he had eight hours to live? Did he just sit in the cabin while Reese was waiting to die outside or..? I don't understand why couldn't Patterson have walked to get help for both himself and John.
And it has never taken hours for Finch, Root, or Fusco to start looking for Reese, why were they all passive this time for so long, specially with knowing that Samaritan is out to get them?
Carter :'(! Whyyyy i miss her.
