2x06 "Festa privata"
@Sandrosaurus No, I see that. But it only half follows through on that tone, so the vibe can shift pretty extremely between scenes. That causes the series to feel disjointed and completely undermines what they're going for. It's been pretty clear all season when they go from the scenes with the cops to the scenes with Vince Vaughn. This episode's final sequence also shifted drastically from how Rachel McAdams's scenes are usually done, but with drugs as an excuse.
@Mitholas This season has Twin Peaks/David Lynch as it's tone. It's pretty clear if you asked me :p
Why does this season not have any clue of what its tone is supposed to be?
@Sandrosaurus That's so true!
Those last minutes were pretty intense shit! @TomF yeah, I was thinking that too! It reminded me of a cross between Danny Elfman music and scores for Mob movies like The Godfather and Scarface...
Odd music choice for the party scene, didn't seem to add to the suspense at all.
