@Nicolas29 - SHOW SPOILER I think he was - just like Finch - the guy who was holding the kill switch to his system. So both had to die to assure nothing or no-one could stop the machines. So why not die together.. It's poetic (and admittedly, indeed idiotic).
@Foaman - SHOW SPOILER There was indeed something off during that fight. Camera angles (also on Shaw), moves, script,... just plain awkward. It was like a long-time associate producer was promised he could direct 1 scene before the show ended and picked this one.

SHOW SPOILER And the fist fight John had with the black security guard? wth was that? why didn't he try to use his gun instead of charging John, it was so damn awkward, slow and nothing like any fight we have seen on this show before
@Sandrosaurus Up to episode 9, this season was by far the best since season 1.. it all went down the toilet from there (writing wise, the last few episodes have been poor, full of holes and not making sense with the overall progression of the story).. It's being incredibly rushed and I understand why, we were lucky to even get an ending, this season almost didn't happen.
SHOW SPOILER I just didn't understand why Greer had to 'sacrifice' himself. Couldn't he just leave the room with Finch there?
@Foaman I think this final season is on fire.
The writing is poor in this episode as well.. Only one more left ... This show deserved so much more
