The watchmaker is still wanted. While Oscar investigates on his own, Orso and Carbone, threatened by Adrian, collaborate with him at the birth of Darian, a gibbous alter ego of our hero created to give a face to the legendary watchmaker, but to preserve at the same time his true identity. So Darian appears on television, and although Marco and others have seen Adrian live, they seem to believe that his appearance was always that of a man with a hump. Gilda, meanwhile, believes that Darian is an imposter maneuvered by the Power and decides to investigate on her own, trying to convert people to her ideas.
