The Power proposes to Darian to conduct a TV program so they can control him, but the hunchback does not show up as a sign of protest. Adrian, meanwhile, frees the Milan Cathedral from advertising coverage, reminding Italians of the beauty of art and leading them to protest and revolution. The Power tries to exploit this situation making the watchmaker pass as a man who incites others to insubordination so it can eliminate him without he becoming a martyr. Meanwhile, Dranghestein proposes to Johnny Silver to make a new record and so recover his fame, but only if he will kill Darian.
