@Fish According to what I've read before, the prequel will explain the origin of the NK and his army, that's probably why they decided to waste him without any interaction in this series.. but still, what actually happened really sucked ..
Not even a little dialogue between NK and Bran?
So disappointing... Was hoping for some interaction between Night King and 3 Eyed Raven/Bran. Now the Night King is just dead without us knowing anything about him. Then what was the point of creating him for this show, he isn't even in the books (yet?). Lazy writing... Arya killing NK also was.. unexpected. I was hoping for 3ER/Bran to use some of his powers, like controlling Ghost or one of the dragons but he was completely useless. I hope he gets a more active role in the upcoming episodes.
John somehow survives falling of his dragon and being surrounded by the dead. Ok.
I liked the cinematography though.
No1 who actually matters died despite the impossible odds, pathetic writing and directing, useless dragons, a total waste of one of the most interesting villains ever made on tv, Arya is also the flash apparently.
Happy Disney ending...
Ok so looks like the show has definitely taken the "Hollywood predictible happy end good guys gonna win no matter what" turn.

Why the current "low" score of 4.2? Even saw it being a 4.0 earlier on. This was perhaps the most epic episode of television I've ever seen. Fucking amazing.

At some point, they lost GRRM spirit here. This is not a freakin zombie movie!
The whole Night King story, biggest anti-climax ever. They could've easily made him a very interesting character with an epic background story, but instead we get another badguy ho wants nothing more then death. Lame!
