On top of all the other bs, I have to comment on how lackluster Cersei's end was. After all the seasons of being the Queen B and this is how she goes? Whimpering and being witnessed by no one?

The confusion over whether or not it feels like GoT is because it does and it doesn't. Such a twist is sort of true to GoT's original style yet the writing was so godawful leading up to it that it doesn't feel like it. We were let down by this type of "twist" coming from nowhere. All the foreshadowing in the world was not enough to make this a believable turn.

I was furious as it was happening like everyone else but after thinking about it for a while I totally get why they chose to do this, it does fit her state of mind and what she said right before to Jon.. It will be interesting to see how the world responds in the final episode..
This episode is the first in the last 2 seasons to actually feel like GOT again imo.
I advise you to rethink what happened from a different perspective (From Dany's, it was a lot more than just about Missandei) after the initial shock withers away.
Also search youtube for Daenareys vision scene from s2, you will see how this episode makes sense.

Oh wow, 3.0 rating right now with 39 votes? About 17 mins in now, very curious to see why it's such a low score..

Edit : such a strange episode, so many weird choices. Don't know how to feel about it.. This felt so not GoT in a way.
