Archer - 14x11 - Into The Cold (3)- Followmy.tv

An alright 3-part finale. I was a little confused by how introspective it was, both by continue the final season's interrogation of the ethics of spy work and by having the characters spend so much time talking about how uncertain the future is and whether they belong in it. It's odd to see Archer, a spy parody, attempt a serious exploration of the same themes as, say, the Daniel Craig Bond movies! It worked fine and the very ending was nice (felt good and right to have an Archer and Pam moment end the series), but ultimately I wish they'd just done a final season that was packed with comedy—I want to remember Archer as the reliable joke machine it was for so many years.
