Jal is an aspiring classical musician at school. But her father and two brothers don't seem to respect her ability. In addition, she gets unwanted attention and encouragement-- based on her race--from the school administration. Michelle, her best friend, is too busy with Tony to offer support so she relies Sid. Jal's life gets even more complicated and dangerous later.
